Hello, I'm Kristy Charlier, professional esthetician and today I'm going to talk to you about how to improve elasticity. Elasticity is responsible for the firmness in the skin. As we age we start to lose elasticity and collagen. Our fibers start to be more relaxed contributing to that kind of sagging skin. There are ingredients that you can use to stimulate collagen elastin production in the skin and also prevent the breakdown of existing collagen renewing that firmness in your skin. So today on Eileen we're going to use the L'Oreal Paris Age Perfect Day Cream. This is a great day cream because it does contain a broad spectrum sunscreen. We want to apply this to cleansed skin and also when you're applying this you should have cleansed fingers or use a sterile cotton tip. You want to use about a pea size amount of product, mix this up into your fingertips. You want to gently pat this on all areas of the face. The derma peptide in this product helps the communication between the cells. It also stimulates collagin and elastin production. This allows the structures of the skin to retain that firmness. If your skin is suffering from a loss of elasticity you want to look for ingredients that have peptides, Vitamin C, Vitamin B and a Retinol that's going to help improve the firmness of the skin. Two final tips that I have for you to improve elasticity, one would be to stop smoking as this depletes she Vitamin C in the body and causes premature aging. Another is to exercise regularly as this has been proven to oxygenate the cells and provide skin thickness and fullness. So that's how you improve firmness and elasticity in the skin. I'm Kristy Charlier. Thank you for watching.
