Hello, I'm Kristy Charlier, professional esthetician, and today I'm going to talk to you about the importance of sunscreen. The sun is responsible for wrinkles, brown pigmentation, broken capillaries, problems like Melasma, Rosacea and various other skin conditions. Sunscreen should be your last step in your regimen before you walk out the door regardless of your skin color. I recommend a minimum of an SPF 30 for daily use, something like the L'Oreal Paris Sublime Sun Advanced Sunscreen SPF 30. This product is great because it's a broad spectrum which means that it does protect against the UVA, the aging rays and the burning rays of the sun, the UVB. So after moisturizing, you just want to grab a pea size amount of product and just work this in all over the face, just mix it up into your fingertips. You want to gently pat first the whole face and then we're going to go back and smooth this out making sure that we get all down the face and down to the neck and down to the decollete. This product is great. It's infused with natural antioxidants like a Vitamin E and a white grape seed. This will protect against free radical damage and it also will repair and health the skin. With an SPF of 30 you want to apply your sunscreen every 90 minutes when outside. When last tip if you're an outdoors person, it's a good idea to wear a hat and sunglasses. Also too when you're driving, put some sunscreens on your hands. This will prevent nasty age spots from occurring later in life. So there's some information about the importance of sunscreen. I'm Kristy Charlier. Thank you for watching.
