Hello. I'm Kristy Charlier, professional aesthetician, and today I'm going to talk to you about how to heal acne on sensitive skin. This is a tricky combination as most acne products are very drying on the skin and, if you have an acne sensitive skin, this can wreak havoc on your sensitivity. It can result in inflammation. You want to be using products that are very gentle on the skin but also cleaning out the oil and the clogged pores. Cleansing the skin is very important when you have an actinic skin but you also want to make sure if you suffer from sensitivity, that using the right product, something that is exfoliating, but also very hydrating. The L'Oreal Paris Go 360 Clean Deep Facial Cleanser for Sensitive Skin is perfect for sensitive acne skin. So, now we're going to start with cleansing Elena's skin. First, we're going to dampen the skin, make sure your water is lukewarm. When cleansing the skin, you don't want to overstimulate the skin. So, this is a great cleanser, it's soap and fragrance-free to prevent irritation. It comes with a beta-hydroxy acid, which is the citric acid and also a glycerin and a Shea butter. Just put a pea-sized amount on to your fingertips, grab a little bit of water, make sure you foam this right up. Even though it is like a milk-based cleanser, it still gets a little bit of foam, so just do that into your fingertips first. So, we want to make sure that we do one cleanse in the daytime and two cleanses at night, one to remove the dirt, oil and pollution that's built up over the day and then one to cleanse the skin. This cleanser has a beta-hydroxy acid, it's a citric acid. It is gentle enough to deep clean the pores, but also gentle on skin. The Shea butter and the glycerin are going to protect the skin from moisture loss and that way, it won't stimulate your oil glands to make more oil, as in the case when you are dehydrated or you're lacking in moisture. So, make sure that you follow your cleansing with an oil-free moisturizer and an SPF of at least 30 in the morning. You also might want to add a Vitamin C to your regimen, just put this on underneath your moisturizer during the daytime. This will help strengthen your capillaries and the redness in the skin. One last thing to keep in mind is to use calming ingredients, look for calming ingredients like your alentwine, your willow herb, you don't want anything to irritate and strip your natural barrier of protection. So, that's how you heal acne on sensitive skin. I'm Kristy Charlier, thank you for watching.
