Hi, I'm Carmen, beauty stylist expert. I'm going to show you how to do straightener styles. For this demonstration, you'll need a flat iron and a rattail comb. I've gone through my hair and straightened all of my hair. And I'm going to use my rat tail comb to create a severe side part for my style. So, just go from the edge of your eyebrow and go straight up creating your part. And actually I'm going about the middle of my eyebrow. I've already flat ironed the back and the sides, and I just want to create a nice, smooth side part. I'm going from the base to the lengths of my hair. I'm going to take the tail of my comb and grab a section from the crown, lift it straight up and back home towards the base of your head. Take your next section and connect it to that first section, and pick it all up and back home. This will give you a little height. You always want to connect your sections. Next, I'm going to take my hands underneath and just shake it out and start smoothing and placing my hair where I want it. Once I've placed all the hair where I want it and have gotten the height that I want, I'm going to take a little bit of finishing spray and just lightly mist my hair so it stays in place. And there you have it! Hair straightening styles. What you'll need again is a flat iron and a rat tail comb. Thanks for watching. I'm Carmen.
