Hi, I'm Alysse Lemke, and I'm a professional hairstylist, and I'm going to talk to you about hair gel, today. I have four different kinds of hair gel, ranging from soft hold to firm and extra firm. The first one I have, is a spray gel, and it's just a really light, easy application of gel that disperses evenly. It's really good for scrunching on curly hair or wavy hair, and getting kind of a beach wave tousled look. The nest one I have, is a cream gel and this is going to be conditioning product, as well as a hold product. It has flexible memory, you'll be able to style your hair, curl your hair and add a little bit of body with the gel texture. The next one I have, is a medium hold gel. This is really good for slicked back looks and wet looks. Also, curly looks will look really nice with this. And last but not least, an extra firm gel, this is going to be good for getting your hair to stick straight up, it's not going anywhere. When you're out looking for gel, take into account your hair type. If you have a fine texture, you want to use something that's not too heavy of a gel. The cream based gel is going to be a great idea, it will add texture, while moisturizing and conditioning your hair. And make your hair feel a little bit more full. If you have really thick hair or resistant hair, something with a stringer hold, is going to be better for you. Don't be afraid to spend a little bit more time and money on the product. Because ultimately, you won't have to use so much, and the product will do exactly what you need. I'm Alysse Lemke, and thanks for watching.
