Hi, I'm Joanna, and I'm a hairstylist. I'm going to show you how to style your hair with some soft flips. What you're going to need is a round brush, your blow dryer and a flatiron. The best way to start this hairstyle is when you're blow drying. You want to get your hair about 80 percent dry before you do anything with the round brush or else you're just going to get your hair tangled up in there. So, once you're hair is about 80 percent dry you're going to take your round brush and I like to use a round brush that has metal in it because this is going to heat up with the heat of a blow dryer and it's going to activate that wave or that curl, whatever you're trying to get in there a little bit easier. So, I'm going to take my round brush and just kind of roll my hair up in there just like you're putting your hair up in a roller. So you get it in there and you take your blow dryer and you're going to blow it down the way the hair grows because you want to seal that cuticle down and you want to make it smooth so if you blow it the way that the hair goes, it's just going to smooth down. So you're just going to blow it on high heat a little bit and once you're about dry, you're going to take your cool shot on your blow dryer and just push that for just a second to seal the cuticle down and just really set the flip. So when you pull your hair out, you've got a nice soft flip. And you're just going to continue to do that all the way around your hair. Just take the next section, even if you grab a little bit from that section, it's okay and you just kind of take it all the way around just like you did for the first one. Just kind of adding that heat to it, really working that in and when you're about done, you take your cool button again, seal it down and your flip is set. Now we're going to move on to the other side. You just do the same thing, wrap it up, speed is not an issue with this and your cool shot and release. Alright you're going to take that last section on this side and roll it up in there cool shot and there you go. And now we're going to take our flat iron and just touch up that last little bit, just so it's even as the other side. And there you are. You're all set and ready. I hope this video helped.
