Hi, my name is Shannon. I'm a makeup artist. Today, I'm going to show you how to do a flashy night makeup for porcelain skin. So, let me show you the products you can use to achieve this look, moisturizer and primer, then your foundation. Then we want to conceal. Of course, we're going to do some blush and bronzer and then for the eyes we're going to do a cream eye shadow, some very fun eye shadows with all these brushes. We're also going to do a gel eyeliner in black, some fun lashes and glitter to add some glitz, lipstick and gloss. Start by applying your moisturizer all over the face. We're going to just dab it all around and blend, just like that. Next let's apply our waterproofing primer, squirt it directly right onto the brush. Next let's apply our liquid foundation, place it all around the face and start to blend, just like that. Let's apply our concealer. So start applying right underneath the eye here getting really close to your lash line and the inside of the eye here in the corner and go over the eyelid as well just to get any discoloration that's on the eyelid. You can also spot treat at this point. To cover redness, just blend right over the area. Usually it's around the nose, through the cheeks. You can go ahead and set it with a powderpuff. So bronzer comes in a few ways. You're probably familiar with powders, also creams. Creams is what I recommend. You've got to use a synthetic brush when applying your cream bronzer, we're going to blend. By using creams, it's going to keep you looking glowy and dewy. So I'm blending it all the way down around my jawline, my hairline and right there against my cheekbone, okay? Now let's apply our cream blush. Using your synthetic brush, dip into your color, pick up a little bit. So generally you want to apply it on the peak of the bone. A lot of people put it more so on the apple, when they smile, they put it here but my technique I like to put it a little bit higher to really draw out that cheekbone. Also by putting it on the cheek up here higher, it gives you an instant lift. It draws the attention higher on the face like that. Now let's apply our cream eye shadow base. You're going to apply it from the lash line to the brow line. This is going to help set your makeup and allow it to stay on longer. We're going to start by putting a cream along the eyelid from bottom to top. Next we're going to start applying our shadow. This will be a lid color. Next we're going to use a small precision brush to highlight our brow bone. With our third color we're going to choose a deeper tone to get some contouring. We're going to place it right on the outer corner of the eye on both eyes and really just combine all those colors and soften any harsh lines. If you have anything fall down, just sweep it away. It cleans right up. Then your dark color here and we're just going to line under the eye and intensify this eye area here. We also want to highlight the inside corners too so go back to your highlighting color and just get right in there in the corners by the tear ducts. Now let's move on to our eyeliner. Try to go a little bit thicker towards the outer edge of the eye and you can just wing it outside here. Take a black pencil and rim the inside of the eye along the water line, top and bottom. This is going to add some more intense dramatic effects. And now the last eye shadow we're going to apply is a purple pigment and that's just going to give it a little bit of pop right there. So I'm working it from the center to the outer corner like that all the way from the lash line to the crease line and blend. So I've just extended my purple pigment outward a little bit more to make more of a dramatic effect and now I'm ready for my eyeliner. And now we want to put a little bit of glitter on top of the eyeliner we just laid down. It's really going to flash and pop. And now we're ready for our mascara. Make sure you do the top and the bottom, really getting in there to the root to really capture all of the length of your lash. And now we're ready for our lashes. So now I've applied my lashes and we're going to move on to the lips. Take a lip liner and outline the rim of your lips. When you apply lip liner to your lips, it really helps to keep your lips defined and prevents it from bleeding and leaking out. And add just a touch of gloss. And that's how you do flashy night makeup for porcelain skin.
