Hi, I'm Caile Noble, celebrity hairstylist, and today I'm going to show you how to fix frizzy hair. As you can see, Jamie here is dealing with some frizz today. And I'm sure at home, you may have the same problem. It's definitely something that may have to do with humidity in your area, climate, or just dry hair in general. And today, I'm going to show you how to attack it and deal with the problem. The key ingredient to fighting the frizz today, we're going to be using Garnier Fructis Sleek and Shine Anti-Frizz Serum. Before we apply the product, I'm going to go ahead and comb the hair out a little bit. Just so that we can start to smooth the hair out with a nice brush. Today, I'm going to be using a flat brush with the combination boar and nylon bristle. So, working through the bottoms, just kind of combing it out, smoothing out the hair slightly. This also is just going to take away any tangles you might have, before applying the product. Once you've done that, go in with your product and emulsify it into your hands and then, work it in. What I like to do is, grab the hair, like in a ponytail, work it through the bottoms. Then, just kind combing it through the hair with your fingers. You can start pulling it up, section by section and working it through too, which can be nice. Patting down any of those flyaways, maybe even coming in and working your hairline a little bit, like so. Just getting in of that excess product off, of your hands. Now, you can see with the product in the hair already, it's already giving it a nice shine, a little bit of polish. Then, you're going to want to go back through, after you've worked it all off, of your hands. Go back in with your brush and brush the product through the hair. And as you can see, the product is just giving the hair a nice shine and smooth finish. Now, obviously, once you're working the product through the hair, you may, depending on how frizzy your hair is at home. You may need to go back in and apply some more, and that's o.k. Don't be shy, but definitely build with the product, don't overdo it right from the start. I'm going to go ahead and work in just a little bit more, and I'm using about a nickel size in my hand. When using a serum like this, you definitely want to be careful to not go right into the root, though. Because you know, sometimes these products, if you use too much, can definitely tend to get a little buildup. And if you go in at the root, you may feel like your hair is getting a little greasy. It's not getting greasy, it's just the product may give you that illusion. So, definitely be aware that you don't do that. But like I said, it is always okay to just go right in around the hairline, just so you get that frizz right at the hairline. So, a few tips I'd like to go over with you, while doing the frizz fighting here. Is, a quick one you can do is, sometimes you have a little bit of a resistant hairline. You can go in and just kind of lightly blow out the hairline, so that it just tames it down a little bit. I mean, not everybody is going to need to do this, but this is something you can do at home. So, watch me, I'm just, and as you can see, it just kind of lightly pulls it out and smooths out the hairline. Once you blow out the hairline like that, you can just kind of go through and finish it off with a little extra product, if you feel like it's something you need. One last thing I'd like to leave you with, is the fact that we used two brushes today, and both of them were boar bristle brushes. These brushes are going to help smooth the hair and polish the hair. And that's what I recommend you use at home. And that's how fix frizzy hair. I'm Caile Noble, thank you for watching.
