Hi, I'm skin care expert Tracy O'Connor, and today I'm going to show you how to fade blemishes. Blemishes on the skin can result from a variety of conditions, be it acne, sun damage, irritations or some kind of an injury to the skin. And the fastest way to heal blemishes on the skin is to restore your skin and to rejuvenate the skin with products and ingredients that are going to deliver nourishment and hydration and healing ingredients. One of the fastest and most effective ways to deliver results to even out your skin tone, blotchiness, fade blemishes and restore clearer skin, and healthier skin, is via the use of a serum. I'm going to use the Midnight Recovery Concentrate, by Kiehl's. I love a serum that comes in a glass jar that's opaque like this because it helps to preserve the ingredients. Now you just need a couple drops, and you can place those right on the tips of your fingers. And you want to go ahead and rub, and then just gently press into the skin. And a serum should be worn at night, after cleansing. This serum smells so good. It has lavender essential oil, which makes it the perfect accompaniment to a good night's rest, because lavender has aromatherapeutic benefits, as well as healing benefits. The concentrate also contains squalene, which is a healing botanical lipid, that is derived from the olive plan, and that will help to fade marks, reduce blotchiness, and give just an overall vibrancy and radiance to the complexion. This also contains evening primrose oil, which is a beautiful ingredient that helps repair the barrier function of your skin. So that way, when we have dry skin, or irritated skin, or acne prone skin, a lot of times our barrier function is compromised, so this restores that. And one piece of advice, it's great to apply a serum at night, because it works with the skin's natural nocturnal activity, when the skin is most receptive to repair. And what's best about this product is it's 99.8 percent naturally derived, and that's difficult to find out there. So many products have synthetic colors, fragrance and ingredients, and this replenishes, restores, all with botanical ingredients that are natural and good for your skin. So if you do have dark marks or blemishes, or even irritations that you'd like to calm, this is the perfect concentrate, because the healing ingredients will heal the irritation, fade blemishes, and overall just rejuvenate the skin. Feeling Genevieve's skin, it already feel so smooth to the touch, and one tip, if you want to wake up in the morning with incredibly clear, smooth radiant skin, use the serum, and just before the serum, use a very gentle exfoliant. That will help the serum to penetrate deeper into the skin cells, and restore a plumpness and a vibrancy. And that's how to help fade blemishes. I'm Tracy O'Connor, thanks for watching.
