It's a great color to choose for classic pieces like oxford blouses, cardigans, pants and skirts. But just because they're classics doesn't mean they have to be boring. Today, we're going to show you a way to breathe some life into your navy separates. Beth is wearing a cool navy pleated skirt by Motel. I love this piece because the fabric and cut make it a bit more interesting than the standard navy pencil skirt. On top, I've added a tailored blouse with a fun pattern that breaks up the solid color of the skirt. Also, the animal inspired print adds a little edge to this feminine look. Next, I've added a cool vintage belt to give this look a slightly more rugged feel and balance out the feminine pieces.
