She also became the entertainment/fashion reporter for WCBS-TV where she kept up on all the hottest trends. In 2007, she took on the role as host and producer for Hotnewz.tv, a revolutionary Internet news program focused on the young and hip college crowd. Hi, I'm Erin and I'm a fashion stylist. Picking out something to wear to the beach, can be challenging. You want to be comfortable, but cool and also chic, of course. Our model, Heather is wearing one idea for your next beach weekend. She has on a really light-weight cotton dress by Cool Change. If you haven't heard of the brand, check it out, they specialize in sophisticated resort wear. This fabric is so airy, that if you got it wet, it would dry in just a matter of seconds. It's also not just another dress, there are real, thoughtful design details. I love the plunging neckline, and the ruching in the middle. The silhouette creates a flattering hour glass shape. I also love the color. I think, when you're going to the beach, it's always great to throw on some bright, bold colors. I finished off the look with some basic flip-fops, so she'll be comfortable walking in the sand. And of course, you can't leave hoe without some sassy sunglasses. When we're going to the beach, there's always that temptation to just throw on a t-shirt and shorts. Resist that urge and just find a dress or two, that make you feel pretty and pulled together. And who knows, if you've got a fab cover-up look. Maybe, it'll make parading around half naked in public in your swimsuit, a little easier, heres' hoping.
