Hi, I'm Todra Payne, professional makeup artist. This video is how to do dramatic fashion makeup on dark skin. My tools today are a liquid foundation in the exact color of my skin, a concealer just one shade lighter, a loose powder for setting my foundation, two eye shadows, one is a very deep shimmery navy blue like a midnight color. It's wonderful and the other one is going to be a highlighter and it's actually a shimmery soft blue and we have lips, our dark brown lip gloss, very very shiny, a brown lip liner. So, let's get started. So, I'm going to apply my liquid foundation first. Now if you have a cream or a mineral foundation, that's totally fine. It doesn't need to be really thick it just needs to even out areas where you need a little bit more coverage and we are going to move on to concealer. Our concealer is really important for this look because I want to make sure that I look flawless underneath my eyes. I'm not going to have any kind of lines or bags or dark circles. As you are probably noticing, my concealer is a little bit lighter than the rest of my skin and that's exactly how you should choose it so you make sure that it covers any dark circles that are going on under there. Okay, see that? And next we are going to do our eyes. So next what I'm going to do here is put the base color, the soft blue all over my lid. Do the other side, bring it all the way up to the lash line, then out, just a tiny bit, not too much. Okay so that's just our base, that's the first color and then we're going to take an eye shadow brush, our clean one and we're going to do our dark color. This is the fun color. As I said this one is sort of a midnight blue and you see I'm putting it at the edge here of the other color and then into the crease. And now, I'm going to take this and bring a little bit underneath. Okay, see that? And we're going to repeat on the other side, right at the edge and then in the crease, see that? And then, we're just going to turn our brush over and we're going blend. And finally I'm going to line my lips with the brown, just a tiny bit. I'm barely touching them. And then a really dark dark chocolate lip gloss, lots of shine to this, lots of shine. Make sure I don't have that line just sitting there along the edges, I'm going to blend that. Okay, and I'm going to just do a sweep of loose powder to just make sure that I'm setting everything in place and if you'd like you can do just a pop of color on your cheeks but keep it really really really sheer, don't do it too heavy. So, there is a dramatic fashion look on dark skin.
