Hi, My name is Taylor Babaian. I'm a celebrity makeup artist, and today I'm going to show you how to curl your eyelashes. So, whenever I'm curling lashes, I always use a great metal lash curler and a mascara that has curling agents that will not only curl the lashes more, but also hold the curl throughout the day. So, to get the look, I'm going to use L'Oreal Paris Voluminous False Fiber Lashes mascara. So, I love the Voluminous False Fiber Lash mascara because it does have that false fiber, so it's going to attach and make the lashes fuller and longer. It also has curling agents so it's going to help to hold that curl. And most importantly, it's waterproof, so it's really going to hold that curl and make sure it doesn't smudge. So, let's get started. We're going to first start curling the lashes, bare, no mascara on the lash. And to really curl lashes, you want to look down. So, if you already have a little curl like Chelsea, you can do a little curl just at the base of the lash, and then a little bit higher at the middle of the lash. And it really does make that lash longer 'cause it really just pushes them up. So, again, you're going to curl at the base of the lash. Kind of squeeze just for a couple of seconds. Don't hold it too long. And then, a little bit, just walk it up just slightly higher. And that really helps to get that whole range of lash visible for others to see. So, I know that the lash curler for a lot of you out there is going to be a little scary, but it just takes a little bit of practice. One of the techniques I like to do is always just look down into your mirror. So, just make sure you tilt your head up and look down into your mirror so you can actually see where it's going into the lash. Also, you want to keep it flush against the skin. So, you're actually going to see. You see how the base is actually against your skin? Don't pull it up or twist it like this. Also, make sure that you close it slowly. And if you - it shouldn't pinch at all. There should be no pain whatsoever. You just want to get it as close to the lash line as possible. Now, if you're afraid, always start a little bit higher at the tip. Learn and practice. It'll really be worth it in the end. So we've curled Chelsea's lashes, and now we're ready for mascara. Again, remember not to have mascara on your lash before you curl your lashes. So, I always like to use a waterproof formula, and the reason being is that a lot of times when you apply mascara, it can be a little heavy and it will fall. So, after you've already done this work to curl the lashes, you put on the mascara, and all of a sudden, they fall. A waterproofer will help to - it's a lighter formula. So it helps to hold the lashes up. It will just freeze it in place. So, we're going to start from the bottom of the lash and really work our way up, kind of pushing the lash up into the skin. That's just going to help to really further that curl. And you'll see that the formula is not drippy, it's not heavy. And really get into that lash. If you need an extra coat, just wait for it to dry a little bit, and then layer on an extra coat. The reason I always like to dry the first layer is so that the second layer doesn't move the first layer around. It's actually just going on top of it. So, eyelashes are a huge passion of mine. It adds instant femininity to the eye. It makes all the eyes look more youthful, sexier. It can make a smoky look a lot cleaner. If you have a messy smoky eye, and then you put mascara and lashes on top of it, all of a sudden you don't see that. All you see is beautiful lashes. So, check out Chelsea's eyelashes. They look amazing. Curling made a humongous difference. Her lashes look full and long, and they've stayed lifted, and they haven't fallen. So, once last tip, don't be afraid of that lash curler. I've had beauty editors and celebrities that were initially afraid of that lash curler. However, once they saw the beautiful effects that it gave, their fears went away. So, there you have it. That's how you curl your eyelashes. I'm Taylor Babaian. Thanks for watching.
