Hi, my name is Yolanda Lopez, professional makeup artist, and today I'm going to show you how to create a makeup palette. The materials I will be using today are eye shadow for the lid, eye shadow for the crease, blush and lip gloss. The makeup palette that I chose today are very neutral tones. They're going to be primary colors. It's basically a starter kit for somebody who actually doesn't know what to wear in their makeup palette. So, the first step to your makeup palette is going to be your eye shadow. We're going to start off with this flat brown color. We're going to swirl in with our nice fluffy brush and we're going to go into the crease, go in again, go on to the other eye. Now we're going to grab this nice shimmery color right here. It's kind of got like a bronzy peachy color, go in with a nice flat brush. We're going to apply that right to the lid and these are all colors that are very simple if you have no idea where to start with your makeup. A good thing about these colors, you could really add to so this is a very soft makeup palette. You could add drama to it later on and use it with different colors. So, it's a very universal makeup palette. Use a little bit on the brow bone. Now we're going to go with our blush right here, very soft natural color, keeping everything really natural. So these are great colors because you could add a pop of color to these colors and it's going to add great definition to your color palette. So now we're going to go with our last step which is our lip gloss, very neutral like peachy pearlesque color. We're going to go right on, very simple, very quick, very fast, every easy and classic. A great tip to creating your own makeup palette is what the occasion is for. So if you're trying to do something basic, something simple, you want to start out with those neutral colors. You might be going for like a dramatic maybe nighttime wear. You really want to go with more dark deeper colors, something that's going to really show in the nighttime. My name is Yolanda Lopez. Thank you for watching.
