Hi, my name is Megan Grady and today, I'm going to teach you how to do a bouffant in long hair. The tools we're going to use are a comb, one large ponytail, and some strong hold hairspray. O.k., the first thing we're going to do, is start by back combing a three inch section, down the middle of the head and then, some of the sides. You want to leave about an inch out in the front, then go all the way back. Over direct your hair forward, when you back comb. And we're going to use our hairspray to spray each section, for maximum hold. By over directing the hair forward, we're getting the most amount of volume. Once you've finished back combing three inch section down the middle, we're going to go to the sides. And back comb about three one inch sections, down. So, here's my first one, my second, and my third. The next step, we're going to do, is smooth out the back combing. So, taking your comb, we're just going to gently run it over, because you want to keep your volume, but smooth out the hair. Next, we're going to take our ponytail holder and pull your hair into a low ponytail. To add a little more volume, just pinch the back of your hair and pull upward. To finish the look, use a strong hold hairspray. And that's how you create a bouffant in long hair. Thanks for watching.
