Hi. I'm makeup artist Chantal Moore, and today I'm going to show you how to cover acne and skin imperfections. Drea has just a few spots here. A few acne bumps and a few areas on her face of imperfection that I'm just going to really easily blend away with the use of foundation today. I'm going to use Smooth Indulgence Foundation in caramel beige on Drea today. And I'm actually going to use a foundation brush. I'm going to take a little bit of the foundation and apply it to the back of my hand. Just to warm the product up a bit. And then taking my brush, I'm just going to lightly tap that into the foundation and I'm just going to apply it, gently sweeping it across the face. Starting from the inside and working outward. And you can also use your fingers. You just want to tap that gently into the skin. And you can see this, the caramel beige goes right into Drea's skin and just literally provides a beautiful veil and it just really, nicely evens out her skin tone. The Smooth Indulgence Foundation by Derma Blend is actually a richly pigmented matte finish foundation, that has twice the pigment power of a regular foundation. So this is something that builds really, really easily so you can just tap that onto the skin. Again either your finger or a foundation brush. And just sweep that from the inside out. And it's just literally diffusing out any past acne scarring, any blemishes that she has, providing a nice matte coverage. And you can see that, I'm just taking the brush and I'm just lightly feathering it and then using my fingers just to blend that out a bit. All of these areas of normal discoloration around the nose, around the cheek here is blending away. Drea has a little bit of rosacea in her cheeks and so the Smooth Indulgence Foundation is just really nicely neutralizing that. Just smoothing that skin texture out. This foundation is good for so many areas of the face that need a little perfecting. Any sort of redness around the nose right here. A lot of times some ladies have a little bit of blue under the eyes and this just blends this right away. So you can see on the right side of Drea's face where I applied foundation coverage that her rosacea here in the center of her cheeks has been blended away. Any spots and hyperpigmentation here has been blended away. And you can see the difference left to right, just what the finish of this foundation has done for Drea's skin. It's refined the texture, refined the pigmentation. And you can see that obviousness. She has foundation coverage here and on the other side, we haven't done any work on that yet. So I've finished Drea's foundation work and you can see that, how easy it was just to blend away any rosacea, any spots, any imperfections in the skin. That natural integrity is still there. She literally just looks like she doesn't have any of those imperfections any more. So there you go. How to cover acne and skin imperfections. I'm Chantal Moore. Thank you for watching.
