Hi, I'm Todra Payne. I'm a professional makeup artist, and in this video I'm going to show you how to do Spring colors on dark skin. I'm going to start with this palette of eye shadows and this one as you see is a beautiful purple color, very, very vibrant and a yellow. Those are the only two eye shadow colors I'm going to use today and then we have our lip color which is a purple as well. So, we are going to do application. First I'm taking my eye shadow brush, dipping it in the purple color, getting it right on my lid, you can see the color already, isn't it pretty? And bring it up into the crease a little bit, you see that? But I'm careful to leave this open right underneath my brow and when you're doing purples you really want to get something that has a lot of red in it for darker skin. You want to make sure you stay away from purples that have blue, a lot of blue or worse gray. It really should be more of a red purple and see how I'm applying that? And then I'm just going to turn my brush over and blend a little bit. So, it's a smoother application. Okay, now we're going to use our yellow and I'm switching up brushes for this part. I want a brush that is angled and not too fluffy because I need to have precision with where I'm putting this, right here under my arch brow. And then we're going to do the other side. And a little makeup artist trick here, we're going to take the point of this brush and put a little bit of our yellow right here. It's just a pop of color. It really brightens your eyes, looks good. See that? Alright, because this is so colorful, I'm not going to do anything on my cheeks but I am going to compliment the look with a purple lip stain. I'm just going to do it very lightly because I don't want it competing with my eye color and that is how you do Spring colors on dark skin.
