Hi, I'm Todra Payne, professional makeup artist. In this video, I'm going to show you how to do club makeup on dark skin. My tools are a very, very shimmery crazy gold eye shadow and that one's loose, a green blue shimmer shadow, that is very dramatic, a lot of black in it and a lipstick that is almost my skin color, just a little bit darker and then I'm going to put a gloss over that with a brown lip liner. And to get started we are going to take a flat brush like this. It's an eye shadow brush and do the entire eye with the gold, all the way up to the brow bone. Colors like this really show up on dark skin. It's really wonderful. Make sure that both sides are even, none is not a little bit stronger than the other and next we're going to apply our green. You see that? That color is really intense and it's a very deep dark color, lots of pigment. So, if you have this color or something similar in a pressed shadow, it's going to be a little bit easier to control. Mine is loose so I'm going to have to be careful and I'm going to shake some off on the back of my hand. Look at that color. Isn't that awesome? And this color is going to go right at the tip of the bottom lid and then into the crease and I'm going to actually pull the eye out just a little bit so the eye can get that where it should be. See how I'm doing these strokes? That's what you want to do right in the crease and grab a teeny bit more. Now of course you can layer this. If you want your seven darker and even more like crazy, you can do that. Let's do the other side, right at the corner, see that, and then up into the crease. And as I said with shadows like this a lot of times you have to do clean up so don't worry about it if you spill a little bit. Make sure it's even. That side is a little more intense I think. Okay, I'm going to turn my brush around and just blend a bit. So once I've blended that down I'm actually thinking I need a little bit of black liner in here just to give it a little more drama, so I'm going to do that after I line the bottom with the same color green, see that? Woops, alright, yea, and then our black pencil which I'm going to just pull the eye out here and then line right along the lash line and then take it up a little higher so it's just a teeny bit thicker. Look at those colors man I love it and I'm going to skip blush and go straight to a lip color. So I'm going to do a dark lip color first and as you can see it's almost the color of my skin, a little bit darker and then I'm going to do just a teeny bit of a brown liner. I don't want like a really hard hard line, just enough to give it a little definition. And then, I'm going to go over it with a neutral color gloss. So this is like a very light brown almost like a caramel color and it's going to lighten it up a little and add just a tiny bit of shine to it. But the idea is not to have it be glittery because my eyes are glittery. So it will be a bit too much. See that? That's it. This is how you do club makeup on dark skin.
