Hi, my name is Tiffany, and I'm a makeup artist. Today, I'm going to show you how to clear up acne for normal skin. This is something you can use every day just to maintain the health of your skin for any time, for any moment. Our tools we'll need include a gentle face wash - something really gentle. We don't want to further irritate our skin. A nice toner - this is going to help to pH balance our skin, to keep it normal. And, of course, just a lightweight moisturizer, nothing that's going to be promoting oil, or to take away our natural essential oils that we have on our skin. Our first step, cleanse our face. Take a little bit of our cleanser, emulsify it in our hands. I'm going to go right on the skin. This is not one that lathers up. This is going to help to break up any oils on the face, or if you have any residue makeup. Make sure we get a nice, good rinse. You'll feel the texture of your skin change. It should feel a little smoother. You want to make sure you get all of the facial cleanser off of your skin. And then, take a nice towel, and dry everything off. You don't want to rub your skin, either. You want to really take the time to pat dry your skin. That way, you're again not irritating the skin, further making it red, or further stressing it. Our skin is so sensitive to how we treat it, how we tug and pull on it. So, especially when we're dealing with acne, we don't want to further irritate our skin. Our next step, I'm going to take my toner, saturate my cotton round. This is going to help to break up any dead skin cells that may be left, just to help remove them gently. It's also going to help to refresh the skin, smooth out the texture. Some maybe even feel cool, or have a nice tingling sensation. Be careful not to get it too close to your eyes. This also may remove any extra oil that may have been left over, or any makeup. It's a nice step just to give the skin one good once over before you add any extra skincare products. Our final step is to add a gentle moisturizer. Our skin loves moisture, it loves to be hydrated. It's important to remember that even though we may be having a few acne breakout moments, to really treat the entire skin with as much hydration as possible. It's really important, when we have those breakout moments, not to pick at our skin, not to cause it to be more red, or to cause it to scar. Things happen, it's natural, our body is just going to work itself out. Just important to treat our skin as it is, normal. Our must-have item is our gentle face wash. It's important that we really cleanse our face, and take the time to take care of our skin to break down those oils that may be trapped in our pores, as well as the makeup that we put on our face. And, that is how you clear up acne for normal skin. Thank you for watching.
