Hi, my name is Janelle Corey. I'm a professional makeup artist, and today I'm going to tell you how to choose the best makeup colors for your skin tone. Peach skin, in this case. You'll want to think of a color wheel when you think of choosing your makeup. For instance, blue is opposite of orange. Try these types of colors on your skin, and you yourself are a great judge of character. If you feel like you look good, you most likely do. If you feel like things are looking a little bit too cool, a little bit too warm, lighten them up or darken them up. But a lot of times, for peach skin, you can do warm tones, like peaches for instance, oranges, pinks, browns. And a lot of the neutral tone colors like beiges and light greens, and things like that for your eye shadows. Coral and pink lip colors are great for peach tone skin. You can go a little bit brighter or you can go more neutral corals. Here are some examples, these glosses here. You can see this is a bit of a cool tone pink, or more of a warm tone pink. Then you've got your orangy coral and the more fun brighter colors for when you go out at night. Same here in the lipsticks. A little bit of a brighter color. More of an orangy coral and a pink as well. I'll demonstrate how that looks on peach skin. And you can see how this color of lipstick really livens up the skin tone. It's good for everyday wear. You can do it a little bit lighter or you can go a little bit darker and wear it out at night. A great example of a pretty neutral color that will look great with peach tone skin is a color like this. It's got a little bit of brown and a little bit of orange in it. And I would just take my brush, dab a little bit on there and work it into my crease. So, I'm just going to work that color into my crease like so making sure to blend really well. Just kind of going over it with my finger. Little circles help to blend everything in. And that just really warms up the skin and kind of ties into the lipstick color you have as well. Remember, when choosing colors for your skin tone, trust yourself. If you feel confident and beautiful, you most likely look beautiful. My name is Janelle Corey, thanks for watching.
