Hi, my name is Tiffany, and I'm a makeup artist. Today, I'm going to show you how to choose spring colors for a cappuccino skin tone. This is a great look for a fresh, sweet, feminine look. This is a look you can wear every day, especially during the spring and summertime. We only need a few tools to achieve this look. First, the nice eye shadow palette of some nice, soft, pastel colors. Love a nice, soft pastel lip gloss. And, just a soft, sweet, pinky blush. Our first step, I'm going to actually apply the blush first, something different. I'm going to take the blush, I'm going to slightly smile, and hit right on the apples. And, if I need it, you can go in nice, soft swirls. This is a nice, soft pink. Has a subtle shimmer, so that I can add a little bit more of a light there. I don't want this to be the main focus. So, that's all I want to kind of start first, and kind of set the ground rules for my next step. Our second step is to apply a nice, soft green shadow to our eyelid. So, starting in the center, I'm just going to take my brush in a nice, back and forth sweeping motion, kind of like a windshield wiper. You want to keep contact with your lid, and just move that color right across. And, as you can see, this green has a subtle gold sheen to it as well. So, again, it's going to play off of our natural cappuccino skin tone. I'm also using a really really soft eye shadow brush, and that's going to play into creating that really soft pastel finished look. This is about wearing colors, not the colors wearing you. And again, side to side. And, these colors are so soft. You don't have to be perfect and super-precise. The brush is going to blend that out for you. Make sure it's even, I'm going to add a little bit more right here in the center. If you need to, do more of a patting motion to build the color. Nice! Step three, real easy. Going to take a nice, light pink eye shadow, and pop it in my inner corners to give myself a nice highlight. And, this is just going to give us a nice pop to the eye. Remember, it's spring. So, we're not trying to create heavy color, heavy shadows. We want this to be something that really enhances, you know, our skin tone, in a very subtle but playful way. Our final step is to add our lush lilac lip gloss. So, we take our nice lip wand, and again, follow the natural shape of your lip. And again, remember, it's okay to pick soft colors, even on a deeper skin tone. And, now we have a lip to compliment the eye. Our must-have item is, of course, the pastel eye shadow.
