Hi, my name is Dominique, and I'm a makeup artist. I'm going to be showing you how to choose red lipstick for caramel skin. When choosing red lipstick, I prefer to choose something with a little bit of blue undertone to it. It makes my lips pop as well as makes my teeth whiter. The first thing we'll need is our red lip liner. This liner is designed to make my teeth look whiter because it has the blue undertone. The next thing we're going to choose is our lip color. This lip color has a lot of moisture in it so it's going to make my lips look very plump and the last thing is a lip gloss. I never put lipstick on without a gloss. It gives it that final finish. So, let's get started. So, when I apply lip liner I like to outline my lip first and then fill in a little bit. The reason I do this is so I don't get a line and then a lipstick which just looks tacky. So, I'm starting on my lip line and then I'm slightly working my way up. I'm doing this because my bottom lip is fuller than my top lip and I want to make them look the same and then filling in a little bit. Also, this is a waterproof lip liner so it's going to make my red lips pop all night long. Next is the lipstick. I'm going to start in the center of my lip and work my way out. This way I don't get bleeding on the outside and it doesn't look cakey and then the final touch is the lip gloss. I only put lip gloss in the center of the lip. It's not taking away from the color of the rest of the lipstick but gives it that final finish. Remember when choosing a red lipstick for caramel skin, it doesn't matter if you choose a lip color with a blue undertone or an orange undertone. I prefer something with blue because it makes my teeth whiter and brighter. Thank you so much for watching.
