Hi, my name is Chantelle Tarride, and I'm a professional makeup artist. And today I'll be showing you how to camouflage puffy eyes for tan skin. The first step would be is as soon as you wake up and you find yourself with puffy eyes is splash your face with cold water. This instantly will help the circulation of your skin go more smooth and it's going to reduce that puffiness by adding that instant cold water. Second, you want to get yourself a gel based puffy eye reducer, anything that you find in your over-the-counter store or beauty store. You want to go ahead and put a little bit onto your hand or directly onto your finger and these gels are meant for puffy eyes so this is going to instantly reduce any area that you find is puffy whether it be above your eye or below your eye, your middle finger or second to last finger are actually the most gentle fingers because you want to be very, very easy on your eyes. The skin around your eyes is actually the thinnest and most delicate part of your face so really be gentle when applying the skin, the more pressure you put the more puffy it's actually going to get so be smooth and that's step one. Your next step would be to going with a concealer slightly darker than in the neutralizer. If you find that you do have dark circles and this is darkening that area you can start off with a lighter color and then proceed with a darker shade but the dark is actually what you're trying to go for because we want to push in that puffiness. This is just kind of like a contouring trick and that's step two. Step three is you're going to want to go ahead and take a powder brush and a compact powder, press that powder brush into your eyes and this is the same color as my skin so again this is not a lighter shade so it's not highlighting, it's reducing the color matching my skin tone and visibly reducing that puffiness and that's step three. Hope you enjoyed this clip on how to disguise puffy eyes for tan skin. Thanks for watching this has been Chantelle Tarride.
