Hi, my name is Devon, and I'm a professional natural hair care specialist. Today, I want to talk to you about doing the blowout on your natural hair. The blowout is more for people with curly hair that want that beautiful afro look. Today I'll show you how. In order to achieve this look you are going to need a blow dryer and the comb attachments. You are going to need a leave in conditioner and an oil of your choice. You are also going to need your T-Rex clips. Lets get started. First, you are going to saturate your hair with the leave in conditioner. Now keep in mind for demonstration purposes I'm only using one small section. You are going to need to do this for your entire head. Next you want to put about a dime sized amount of oil throughout your entire head. Just like that. Next you are going to detangle your hair using a wide-tooth comb starting at the ends and working your way up to the root. Just like that. Next you are going to blow dry. You are going to use your wide-tooth attachment for this particular blowout. Be sure and work from end to root just as you did when you detangled like this. Continue to blow dry until your desired straightness is reached. The idea is to blow dry your entire head so that you get this afro look throughout. Remember if you need to section your hair off to hold it back you can use your clips. Once you've blow dried your hair into it's desired straightness then you may shape your hair into the style that you want to wear. In conclusion, the blowout is a fun and easy way to change your look from curly to straight. Remember to have fun and thanks for watching.
