Hi, I'm Daniela Rawson. I'm a hairstylist, and I'm going to show you how to do awesome hair for straight hair. The products you will need are some kind of a wax, a comb, a hair tie, and bobby pins. Our first step will be applying the wax, and this will give your hair a really nice texture, and it will be a lot easier to work with. So, you want to get just a tiny bit. And then work it through your hands. And if you pull it like this it will help all the fibers to start working. And then you want to just start, we want to put it mostly in the front and in the sides. And work into the roots and then we want to work back cause we are going to put it in a ponytail so we want everything to be nice and sleek. And if you have extra you could just work it through the ends a little bit. Our next step we are going to do a pompadour in the front. So we are just going to grab the section that we want. It's more in the crown area. We are just going to leave that hair back. And then we are going to take half of that section and we are going to back comb. Start right at the root and work your way up and then come back down. And then we are going to take the next section. Start back combing and work your way up. And then we are just going to softly comb the top of that. We are going to pin it. Once we get the shape that we want we are just going to pin it down. We want a lot of volume cause this is more of like really fun, funky rocker type look. Now that we have the shape that we want we are just going to secure it with a booby pin. So we are going to go across this side. And then across the other side and you want them to cross so that it will stay put. And then we are going to grab the comb and start combing your hair back like you would into a ponytail but we want it tighter. And then we'll hairspray in the end all the little fly aways but for now we are just going to focus on the ponytail. And you want it about midway up. So, you want it really tight on the sides and then in the, like the very top, you can have more volume so that part can be more loose. And now we are going to secure it with a hair tie. And then you can kind of mess it up at the very top so you have more volume. And then kind of scrunch the hair so it's really just messy and fun. So, our last step will be finishing off the look. And we want to make sure that this is nice and tight. So, we are going to just hairspray. And then just running your hands across the sides so it's nice and sleek. And then up top so all the little fly aways are nice and tame. And you can even hairspray the actual ponytail to make it nice and messy. So to do awesome hair, just be creative and use really good products. That way, you have lots of texture and you can do lots of fun stuff with it. My name is Daniela Rowson, and thanks for watching.
