Hi, my name is Susan, and I'm a makeup artist. Today, I'm going to show you how to keep your mascara from running under your eyes. Now there are a couple of key tools that you'll need to be able to achieve this.One being your mascara, an eyelash comb, a small powder brush, and your translucent powder. First, you're going to take your powder brush and a little bit of your translucent powder. Now, zip it in, and to a clean eye, you're going to want to dust that across your eyelashes. Now this helps the mascara to adhere to your lashes and give it a base to hold on to, so it doesn't run. So, you get a nice liberal brushing on top of your lashes. Now, that that's set, take your mascara. And a great mascara tip, is to run from the base of your lash up to the tip, just to give it a nice good coverage. Now, after you have applied your mascara to your liking, do another very light coverage of your translucent powder. Again, this is about making a barrier so that your mascara doesn't run. So, a very light layer, less than what you originally applied. Lastly, you're going to want to comb out your eyelashes, just to make sure everything is nice and separated. The key is to have nice full lashes without the runniness. So, there you have it, keeping your mascara from running under your eyes. Now, again, the key tool for this is definitely that translucent powder. It help build a barrier for your mascara to hold on to and it just makes everything, keep it looking nice and neat.
