Hi, I'm Ashley Battie, and I'm a professional makeup artist, and today I'm going to talk about applying makeup under the eye. What you'll need is a firm eye shadow brush, a blending brush, an eye shadow, a highlighting eye shadow and an eyeliner. So, I'm starting with my liner. I just have a black liner here and I'm going to put this in the water line, focusing more on the outside of the eye but kind of blending it in. You can also take this liner and smudge it underneath the eye for more of a smoked out effect. Now we're going in with our blending brush and we're going to smudge that in. So now that we have our eyeliner in place we're going into our eye shadow. Now, this is the shadow I used on top of my lid as well and I'm taking my smudge brush and adding that to the liner we have, taking it a little deeper. So, now that we have our eyeliner and our darker shadow in place, we're going to take our firm shadow brush and our highlighting shadow and we're placing this on the inner corner of the eye. This opens up the eye, makes it look more awake and it's just really pretty, a nice addition to the shadow we have. So now, we're finishing with a little bit of mascara and I'm just going to put this on the outer corner on the bottom lashes, kind of create a flirty look. So when applying makeup under the eye, what's really key is a good smudge brush and a good eyeliner that will really last. I'm Ashley Battie. Thank you for watching.
