Hi, my name is Adrienne, and I'm a makeup artist. Today, I'm going to be showing you how to apply simple eye makeup that is both beautiful and wearable at the same time. Now, let's get started. The first tool I'll be using is a color eyeshadow to give a sheer, but natural, color to the eyelids. The second tool is a black gel eyeliner, which gives a beautiful, defined, but water resistant look. The third tool is a short, angled brush. This eyeliner brush is great to apply gel eyeliner. The fourth and final tool is our mascara as a finishing touch. For step one, take your cream eyeshadow, and apply with your ring finger. I'm going to go directly on the eyelid first with this pink color. Cream shadows are very blendable, so it's so easy to apply with your finger. Then, I'm going to take this gold color, and I'm going to apply up here in the brow bone. For the third step, I'm going to apply the gel eyeliner, going to take my angled brush, dip into that, and begin to apply on the top lash line, going in a horizontal position with the brush. Gel eyeliners are really creamy, but the benefit about them is that they dry to a nice, matte finish. Use your finger if needed to help control the brush. Then, for the final step, you're going to apply your mascara. Going apply to the top and bottom lashes. Applying simple eye makeup takes anywhere from five to eight minutes to do. The most important thing to remember is to use a gel eyeliner, since the rest of the products are very soft. The most essential item is the gel eyeliner. Combined, these items should range anywhere from 20 to 100 dollars. And, that's it. That's how you apply simple eye makeup. Thanks for watching.
