Hi, my name is Ashley Battie. I'm a Professional Makeup Artist. Today, I'm going to be showing you how to apply a powder to your face. So, the products we will be needing are a foundation brush and a powder. Now, I've already applied my fluid foundation. Keep in mind that you can go ahead and put the powder foundation with or without the fluid underneath, depending on how much coverage you want. But, I want to go ahead and set my fluid foundation because I want a higher coverage. So, I'm going into my powder, tapping off the excess and I'm lightly placing this everywhere I put my fluid foundation. I'm using a very sheer powder because I have my fluid foundation. However of course, if you want a higher coverage, you can either use a higher coverage powder or you can build it for more coverage. And I'm just going in and buff it into the skin, taking away any shine. So, when applying a powder, you need a good powder from sheer to high coverage, depending on what you're looking for and a high quality powder brush. I'm Ashley Battie, thank you for watching.
