Hi, my name is Rachel and I'm a makeup artist. Today, I'm going to be showing you how to do makeup for photographs. Usually, I like to have the following items, lip balm. I like to also use this primer. A full coverage foundation, compact powder, loose translucent powder. And concealer just to cover up red spots. What I usually like to begin with is lip balm. So I like to take my lip brush and go through and just get your lips moisturized. The next step is going to be to use the photo finish facial primer. You can either put it on a little wedge or just use your fingers. Make sure you go all the way around the jawline. You can even go down onto your neck depending on what you will be wearing for your photo. And we are going to follow up our primer with a concealer. Usually I like to go around the outside the nose just kind of get that covered up cause you can see a little redness there. I usually like to use it to reshape my mouth just cover your lip line. Go through and just apply where you see needed. We are going to follow up that step with our full coverage foundation. And like I said you have a choice between a brush or using your fingers. And I tend to like to go back and forth between both. And so for our final step we are going to finish up with our powder. And like I said previously you can either choose the compact powder or the loose translucent powder. I always like to go for the loose translucent powder to start with. That way it will set your foundation, set everything. I try to avoid my eyelids to start with that way you have something to hold your eyeshadow basically an eyeshadow primer. All through this step you usually want to let your makeup set just for a bit. And those are some quick and simple steps for how to apply makeup for a photograph. Thank you for watching.
