Hi, my name is Ruthie, and I'm a professional makeup artist. Today, I'm going to show you how to apply liquid foundation for dry skin in a cappuccino skin color. The first item you will definitely need is a hydrating moisturizer, your foundation brush, a makeup finishing spray, and a cream foundation. So, the first step is to get your moisturizer and make sure you apply a generous amount but not too much, just enough to hydrate the skin. I'm using a foundation brush to really work it in there. I'm picking up a little bit more moisturizer and applying it to the other side of the face still with the same foundation brush and a little bit more moisturizer to cover across the forehead, down the nose and the side of my face and whatever is left over is going to go down the neck. So, the next thing I'm going to do is mist my face with a makeup finishing spray and these are actually very hydrating if you get one that doesn't have any alcohol in it. So I want the face to be nice and moist so that way when I apply the cream foundation it's not going to slip, excuse me, it's not going to tug onto the brush. You want it to glide nice and easy. And I'm using cream for dry skin because it's a lot more hydrating than just your typical liquid foundation. So I'm going to take the same foundation brush that I used for the moisturizer to blend in my foundation. I'm going to take some more of the foundation onto the other side of the face and I'm not putting a lot. I'm just gently swiping on the foundation and in areas that you need a little bit more coverage instead of swiping, just press so that way it's concentrating the color on those areas a little bit more tan the rest of the face. And I'm also going to take my finger just to press the color underneath my eyes slightly and a little bit more color across the forehead and that's how you apply liquid foundation for dry skin in a cappuccino skin color. The main item you will definitely need is a very very hydrating moisturizer. Thanks for watching.
