Hi. My name is Kathryn Fernandez, and I'm a makeup artist in Los Angeles, California. Today, I'm going to show you how to apply a light party wear makeup. These are the tools you'll need. A lid brush, just a nude eyeshadow, and I'm actually using two brown eye shadows for the crease, a crease brush, a black eyeliner. I'm using a gunmetal eyeliner and then like a berry lipstick. OK, let's get started. So, the first thing that you're going to do is apply the nude, like the cream eyeshadow with your lid brush. And I'm just going to make a nice wash of this, so I'm applying this to my entire lid area. OK, now for the crease. I'm going to take the lighter brown and just apply it into the crease area and you want to start from the outside of the eye working towards the nose. OK. And then use the darker brown with just a little bit of gray and apply it to the deepest part of your crease and then move towards your nose, just for a nice little 3D effect, just to get that crease a little bit deeper. OK, now for the eyeliner. The first eyeliner that I'm going to use is the black and this is a kohl pencil, K-O-H-L, so that you can put it on the inside of your eyes. So I'm just going to line my eyes. OK. And now, I'm going to use my gunmetal pencil to actually just line the top. And I use gray liner a lot just because it's a softer look and less harsh than the black but it still gives a nice finished, refined look. OK. And now for the lips. I chose a nice like berry shade just to kind f give a little variety and also to compliment the gray. And that's how I like to apply a light party wear makeup. Thanks for watching.
