Hi, I'm Chantelle Tarride, and I'm a professional makeup artist. And today, I'm going to show you how to apply light eye makeup for tan skin. First, you want to grab your blending brush. Next, I'm going to show you how to do a light application with a nice light brown. This has a light reflex of gold undertones in here, like a nice savanna brown, very sandy look. I find this to be a great look for the day time. On tan complexions, you want to do a very sheer overall cover. So, what I'll do, is I'm going to go in with this light brown. Now, because this is light eye makeup, I don't find it necessary to even go with any eyeliner. Because I like to to be very light and very sheer, and very natural looking. But these browns and these golds are going to reflect off, of your natural color tone. And really just make it look, really look natural. That's my biggest tip, is making makeup look as natural possible. And looking nice and pretty and flawless. I find that these complexions go best with light browns, yellows, golds. I'm blending all the way up, past my actual crease. Because we want one all over color, and that's step one. Next step, is you want to highlight your brow bone. So, I'm going to take a nice yellow undertone highlighter, take my blending brush that I used to cover the entire eyelid with the savanna color. Pretty much dab it in there, you'll just want to take it right under that actual eyebrow. If you find that you get a little bit of highlighter on your eyebrow. You can take your spoolie brush and just brush out any color, take it away. Continue on highlighting, bring it down a little bit into that brown. So, you don't see where one color ends and one begins. You really just want to make a nice blending effect happen here. You don't want to go too low, you want to keep it just where your natural brow bone is. Again, brush any highlighter color that you may have got on your eyebrow. Take off any excess that may have fallen from the brow, right under your eye, clean it up. And that's how you apply light eye makeup for tan skin. This has been Chantelle, thanks for watching.
