Hi, my name is Rachel, and I'm a makeup artist. And today I'm going to be showing you how to get a jewel tone look. What we'll need is of course your jewel toned palette. I like to use a black eyeliner. A potted black eyeliner, blush. Whenever I'm picking jewel tone colors I usually go for greens, blues, or purples because I have hazel eyes. So you can always pick your colors accordingly. Or with jewel tones you can always blend the colors together and make it a really nice pretty deep color. Our next step is going to be to take your eye shadow whatever color you choose. Today I'm going to be using purples. And we are going to smudge it right over that line we just created. And I'm going to start with the darkest color that you are going to want in your jewel tone. Come right over that top. Come a little in to your crease. And you can take one of your powder brushes and just get rid of that excess there. I'm going to that inner, inner part of your eye and sweep out with your lighter shade. After you get those light shades kind of around the eyes I like to go through and I take a little bit of a darker color. I'm going to apply right here to the very crease and then even come around on the outside of my eye. Any of the excess that comes to the outside of your eye just sweep that right off. Next step I like to do is take my finger and use whatever color you decide to put right in the center of your lid here. At the very center. Makes your eye pop a little bit more see this one. Then what I'm going to do is take something lighter to highlight my brow bone up here. So and the next step is going to be to take the potted eyeliner and we are going to apply this to the inside the lower lid of your eye. You can even extend it a little to the outer corners if you want. And to finish our look what we are going to need to do is apply our blush, lipstick, and mascara. And those are all the steps that you need to achieve a jewel tone makeup look. Thank you.
