Hi, I'm Christine. I'm a makeup artist, and I'm going to show you how to apply gold eye shadow for olive skin. The things that you'll need are some gold base, an eye shadow base that's going to hold the powder. It doesn't have to be gold but it would be nice if it was and then some gold eye shadows. I have two here, a lighter one and a little bit of a medium tone one and then you'll need a couple brushes to apply the shadow with. I like to use a flat shadow brush and kind of a fluffy shadow brush. Let's get started. So, first thing is the eye shadow base. I'm going to use this lighter gold color and I'm going to apply it with my fingers and just do a nice sheer wash from the lashes all the way up to the eyebrow and this is going to grab on to the powder, make it last longer, make the colors more vibrant, definitely a must have. So, I'm just going to put it on lightly. You don't want to tug at your eye area because it's delicate skin on both sides. And you don't need a whole lot, just a sheer wash is perfect and then you're ready for your powder. So I'm going to put the medium gold on first with the flat brush. It's a little bit glittery so I'm glad that I have that base on there and I'm going to tap off any excess from my brush and then apply it right onto the eyelid. So when I apply this I'm going to pat it on and that way it minimizes the shadow falling down too bad on your cheek and under the eye. It will also give you a higher concentration of color which is good so I just pat it on there about up to the crease line like so and now I'm going to take my fluffier brush and dip it into the light gold color and I'm going to use that as an eyebrow highlight and just to blend that medium color a little bit. So you want to lightly put this right underneath the brows and just go back and forth over that medium color just to smooth it and make it nice and soft and then also a little tip to make your eyes pop is we put this light color in the corner there, inner corner and that will brighten up the eye area and then lastly if you want to create a little bit of dimension you can take that same fluffy brush and dip it into a darker brown, darker gold and just go right into your crease, right in here. So I'm just going to start on the outer corner and lightly work my way into the crease, back and forth, little half moons and this is just going to create a little bit of dimension, make your golds look brighter. You could even use this as eyeliner if you wanted to as well with a little thin brush. And there you go. It's just that easy. That is how you apply gold eye shadow for olive skin. Definitely you can apply gold eye shadow to any skin tone. The must have item in my opinion is going to be that eye shadow primer because with any eye shadow, if you have the primer it's going to hold on to it better, make it not crease and if it's gold or the same color as your powder then that's a bonus as well. It's going to make the color pop. So, thank you so much for watching. I'm Christine. Bye.
