Hi there. My name is Brooke, and I'm your beauty expert. Today, I'm going to be showing you how to use gold eye shadow on fair skin. So, the products and tools I'll be using today are some gold eye shadow, and an eye shadow brush. So, the first thing that I want to say as far as picking out a gold eye shadow for fair skin, think about picking out your gold to mimic a piece of jewelry that you may have. I find that sometimes, some golds can pull more to the yellow side, like a pale yellow, and have a light shimmer. Sometimes, these don't really show up so much on fair skin, because they tend to blend in a little bit more with the skin tone and can end up making you look a little bit more sallow. So, try to find something that is a bit more reflective, and appears to have more of a bronzey gold tone to it, if you will, versus a yellow gold. So, I'm going to start by using my gold eye shadow, and my eye shadow brush, and placing the color just on one side of the brush before I start applying it to my lids. And, I'm going to start by applying it just really close to the lash line, and then sweeping up, adding a little bit more product if I need it. You want the strongest saturation of the product. In other words, the most amount of the product you want closer to the lash line. So, it's deepest and richest in tone closer to the lash line, and gradually gets lighter as it goes up. So, again, by placing most of the color closest to the lash line, and sweeping back and forth all the way up to the brow bone, you create the concentration of color closest to the lash line, so it has a natural blend. So, it creates sort of a wash of color. I think when you combine too many colors with gold, it starts to get a little murky. So, I like just a soft wash in the lash line, all the way up to the brow bone. So, there you have it. That's how to apply gold eye shadow on fair skin using my gold shadow, and a flat shadow brush, to achieve the look. My name is Brooke. I'm always happy to help, and thank you so much for watching.
