Hi, I'm Christine; I'm a Makeup Artist. I'm going to show you how to apply glitter eye shadow. I'm going to use cream eye shadow. I'm also going to use powder eye shadow and a couple brushes. We need a angled eye shadow brush, a fluffy blending brush and also a pointed pencil brush. So, the first step to applying the glitter eye shadow is to use the cream. So, I'm just going to put this on with my finger 'cause it doesn't need to be precise. The cream is what's going to be what grabs the glitter so it doesn't go all over your face. So, we're going to put this from the lash line, all the way up to your brow and this is just kind of a sheer gold color. This is really fun to do. You can go crazy with it and get big chunks of glitter or you can do a more subdued fine glitter. That's kind of what we're going to do today. And now, I'm going to go in for the powder which has the glitter in it. I'm going to use this pretty kind of teal turquoise with gold glitter flakes. I'm going to use that angled brush, get it on there and I'm going to tap off the excess here. And then, we're going to apply it to the lid and I'm going to pat it on. And that cream is doing a great job of grabbing this eye shadow. It's got those gold flakes in there which is very pretty. And you can just kind of slap it on, it doesn't have to be perfect 'cause we're going to blend it later. Pat, pat, pat; make sure you have it even and as dark as you like. And now, I'm going to grab the blending fluffy brush. I'm going to dip it into this lighter color and we're going to blend out that teal. You just do it kind of gently, back and forth, blend it out there. I'm going to go all the way up to my eyebrow since it's going to also act as our eye, eyebrow highlighter and that gleam cream is going to keep your shadow on much longer with few creases. I'm also going to take the other side which is the pointed part, the pencil part and I'm going to use that turquoise as liner on the bottom. I like to do this when I'm using bright colors 'cause it completes the look. So, you just tap it along and then to smooth it, I'm going to use that same light color. And we're just going to smooth along the bottom there, keep it really soft. And there you go, it's just that easy; only takes a few minutes. This technique will work with any glitter. The trick really is to do the patting motion on top of the cream, something that will grab it. It's a lot of fun, you can play with it; go crazy if you're going to a party or something, really make it glittery. It's a lot of fun. Thank you so much for watching. I'm Christine. Bye.
