Hi, my name is Ana and I'm a Makeup Artist. Today, I'm going to show you how to do eyeliner wings, also known as the cat eye. I'm going to start by using a gel eyeliner on the top lash line. You want to use a very thin tapered eyeliner brush for this application. Start by applying the gel liner on the upper lash line. Once you have a good amount, then, you're going to start to lift the liner when you get to the outer corner of the eyes. It helps if you kind of pull slightly on the eye. Using gel eyeliner is a really great option for this because it glides on really smoothly, but it dries kind of like a powder. So, it's going to stay on all day and it's waterproof and it's smudge proof. Okay, again, once you have a good amount on, then, you want to slightly tug on the eye, not too hard and just pull it out. Next, you want to go ahead and lock in the color by taking a little bit of black eye shadow and just going on top of the eyeliner. The last part of the application is to do two coats of mascara. It's really important that you have thick full lashes for this application. This is a really fun look and it's great if you're trying to do maybe like a 1940s old Hollywood look as well.
