Hi, my name is Kathryn Fernandez, and I'm a makeup artist in Los Angeles, California. I'm going to show you how to apply black eyeliner to smoky eyes. You'll need black eyeliner. Okay, so, the first thing that you need to know is notice that my pencil is not at its most sharp point. I kind of, like, take it down just a little bit, just so that it's a little bit easier on the eyes. Okay, so, what you're going to do is start from the outside, and work your way in, slightly decreasing the width of the line. So, what you're going to do is start at the edge, and bring it toward your nose. Also, notice that I'm using the side of the pencil, just because it's easier to control, and to lay down product. I'm just going to do a little bit underneath. And, that's how I like to line my eyes for a smoky eye. Thanks for watching.
