About the Expert
Hi, my name is Teresa, and I'm a makeup artist, and today I'm going to show you how to apply eyeliner to a hooded eye. The tools that we're going to need to create this look is the eyeliner, a flat concealer brush, and eye shadow. So, there are a couple of ways that you can apply eyeliner to a hooded eye. The first way is just taking eyeliner and going in the eye from the outside and you can apply a natural eyeliner or you can apply a glamor eyeliner. So today I'm going to do a glamor. So, the glamor, you're going to come from the outside with the little point, you're going to go in halfway. So you want to take it from the inside tear duct and you're just going to meet up with your other line that you created from coming outward in. That's one way to apply it. The other way is if you have a really like if you have a lot of hood coming over the lid then you may want to just take black eye shadow or dark brown and just apply it to the lid and you're doing this because when you open your eye it's going to appear as eyeliner. Take it to the outer part of your eye. You do not want to take your powder past where the outside of your eye ends. You don't want to take it to the end of the hood because then it's not going to look right. So on me, it looks like a really thick eyeliner opposed to this side. Now, for someone who has more of a hood that's covering their lid it would look more like this. So, those are the two ways that you can apply eyeliner to a hooded eye. And the tools that are essential in creating this look are the flat concealer brush, the eye shadow and eyeliner. Thanks for watching.
