Hi, my name is Ana, and I'm a makeup artist. Today, I'm going to show you how to apply eyeliner for almond shaped eyes. The products that I'm going to use today is a dark brown eyeliner, I'm going to use mascara, I'm also going to use a flat eyeliner brush, as well as a slanted tip eyeliner brush. I'll apply eyeliner to the top and bottom lash line, and blend it out with a brush. It's really simple. I'm going to start by applying the dark brown eyeliner to the top lash line. It's really easy if you just do tony little dots. And then, go back and connect those dots. This way, you get a nice line, and it looks well blended. For almond-shaped eyes, you're wanting to enhance the shape, so go ahead and start from the inner corner, and move to the outer corner. Next, I'm going to take my slanted tip brush, and just smooth it along the lash line. Sometimes it helps if you pull ever so slightly on the eye, and that way you can get more of a, kind of like a straight line. But again, you just want to pull very softly, not too hard. Now, for the bottom, go ahead and fill in the inner rim of the eye with the dark brown pencil. Again, the whole idea is just to enhance the shape of the almond shaped eye. So, filling in the inner rim is really going to make it look a little bit smaller - make the eye look a little bit smaller. So, it really just kind of makes it more intensified, and really helps to create great shape. And then, I'm going to switch my brush to the flat tip eyeliner brush, and then blend it. To complete the look, apply two coats of mascara. Applying a little eyeliner to your makeup application can really change your look.
