Hi, my name is Tiffany, and I'm a makeup artist. Today, I'm going to show you how to apply eye makeup on dark skin, so it's natural and fresh. Let's get started. Here are our tools: First, our creamy eye shadow trio in shades of golds and browns. Next, our blending eye shadow brush to apply and blend out our eye shadow color. Next, our black eyeliner, so we get some nice definition. And, I never go out without my mascara for volume and length. Our first step is to apply our eye shadow. I'm going to start with the light, creamy gold color. I'm going to start here at the highlight, and I want to showcase my brow. So, I'm just going to use nice, gently sweeping motions. Now I'm going to go if for a gold, kind of a gold, kind of a mid-tone gold. Golds are great on darker skin. And, of course, you can definitely use other tones, definitely have your pick. This will give you a nice, natural and fresh look. You want to play up your skin tone, and use it to your advantage. And, it's a neutral gold, so I'm going to up it all the way up into our highlight. And next, we're going to take our bronzey color, a nice brown tone. Browns are great against dark skin, because it's a natural way to bring in definition, to bring in some contour. So, I'm going to go right on this bone, and feel for it. Everyone has a different placement of it, but we all have the same bone. And now, really lightly, we're going to take a little bit of our eyeliner, and I want to keep this fresh. You can definitely line the entire eye, but I'm going to just line the outer half, and it's going to allude like I have lined the entire eye. The trick is to keep it really thin towards the center, so it's a little thicker here, using little, short strokes. And then, I lightly, lightly, lightly go in. So, now it looks like it's one fluid line. Little trick. And, of course, we must add our mascara, because it finishes up the eye, completes the eye look. Again, focusing heavily on this outside corner, and then finishing the detail through the middle and the inner lashes as well. Applying eye makeup to dark skin is about choosing in golds and browns for a fresh, natural look. It's important to remember to enhance your skin tone. That's why our essential item is our eye shadow trio. Combined the total tools will be probably cost you around 35 to 75 dollars. So, you have lots of choices. That's how you apply eye makeup to dark skin. Thank you for watching.
