Hi, I'm Simone. I'm a makeup artist, and today I'm going to teach you how to do daytime eye shadow. So, the tools you're going to need for this are an eye shadow brush and an eye shadow palette. Okay, to start with, you're going to take your highlighter eye shadow, and you're going to put a little on your brush and you're going to apply it to inside the corners of your eye and just under the eyebrows. You're going to apply it to those areas and just blend it out with your brush. It should be really subtle looking. Now, the reason that we're putting it in the corners of the eye is because when you put a light color in the corners of your eyes, it makes your eyes look wider and when you put it underneath your brow bone, you're elongating the eye space. So you have, it creates an illusion of more space to work with on the lid. So, it creates this illusion of having wider set eyes, and like a greater space in between your eye and your eyebrow, just opening up the eye area. After that, you're going to take your slightly darker color and you're just going to put it in the crease. So, the crease is where it's basically, like, the top of your eyeball, and you're just going to blend that in really well, and that's going to add dimension. So, what we used to complete that daytime eye shadow look is super simple. All we needed was an eye shadow brush and your eye shadow palette. Super easy, so go ahead, go home and try it out and thanks for watching.
