Hi, my name is Brandie Johnson, and I'm a makeup artist in the Los Angeles area. Today I will be demonstrating for you how to apply bronzer to dark skin. Now, when applying the bronzer, we're going to use a bulbous makeup brush. This will allow you to get a really full effect on that cheek area. Also, you want to make sure you find a bronzer that's not too off from your own skin complexion, something that is very close. You could even find a two toned type of bronzer that will allow you to achieve more depth when applying it. When applying the bronzer, you want to make sure that you are applying it in an upward type of motion, almost as if you're applying blush but that's not the case, it's the bronzer to give you that nice illuminating look and you make sure you apply to both sides in the same type of upward motion and as you see if you have the two toned type of bronzer it allows you to have a very illuminating look here, along with the darker look underneath and that's the whole point of having the two toned type of bronzer to give you that illuminating type of look. Now remember, when purchasing a bronzer, purchase one with a lot of shimmer and illuminating effect, strongly suggesting a two toned one to give you some depth. Also, remember to purchase an angled flat round blush brush to help you apply the bronzer a whole lot easier. And that's how you apply bronzer for dark skin.
