Hi, my name is Rachel and I'm a Makeup Artist. And today, I'm going to show you how to use makeup to create a barely-there look. So, our first is going to be to use your eye primer, which usually for the daytime look, you want something that has a little bit of shimmer in it because it helps to just create that sparkle. Apply the primer. I always go through and like to blend it with my hand. The warmth from your fingertips helps to smooth everything out a little bit more as oppose to using brushes for the primer. Our next step will be to take your eye shadow palette; I like to start with something a little on the shimmery side, something that you can put over the entire eyelid. We're going to go ahead and start from the inner corner and sweep out. And again, you can go all the way up to your eyebrows. And it's better to start with less because you can always layer it on there. So, after we get our base color put on, we're going to take a slightly darker color and go to the creases of our eyes and just kind of softly blend it out and around. Next step is going to be optional; but some people do like to have a little more dramatic, a little more color. So, you could take one shade darker, just to add some depth. And then, for our third color, which is the optional color, just right along the outside, just to give it a little more drama. And then, for our very last step will be just to make sure everything is nice and smooth and brighten up. Take that base color one more time that you started with and go back around all of the outside of the eye. One step I prefer personally is to always make sure and go through and darken my eyebrows just a little bit. And that, with your mascara for your eyes, I usually like to use something in jet black, it makes your eyes pop. And you finish off with your lip gloss or your lip balm. Just apply, just to give it a nice shiny look. And those were the steps to doing barely-there makeup. Thank you for watching. I hope you enjoyed it.
