Hi my name is Megan Grady. I'm a hairstylist and today I'm going to teach you how to add volume to long hair. The tool we're going to use today is a comb. Okay so the first thing I'm going to do is take a three inch section down the middle of my head. I'm going to subdivide that into half inch sections and back comb. Now when I back comb I'm going to comb my section all the way up and over direct it forward towards my face then back comb. When you're back combing you want to completely remove the comb and take a new stroke each time. Once you've back combed each section, we're going to take your comb and comb out what we just back combed until you've got your desired amount of volume. Our final step is to finish off with a light hold finishing spray. So that's how you create volume in long hair. Thanks for watching.
