How did you feel when you saw your photo and realized you had won?
I felt like I was in a dream, I had to keep looking at the picture. I thought that Tyra had said Raina’s name. I was going crazy! I was shaking and overwhelmed. I felt like my dream had finally come true!
Watching the finale on television I teared up because I knew how hard I had worked to get there. It’s amazing, but it still hasn’t really hit me yet that I’m the winner. I still feel like regular old me, but I’m ready to get out there and work and do what I need to do to stay on top!
Did you think you were going to win?
Not at all! I could give you a reason for everyone to win except myself. I’m really confident, but I saw Raina in the beginning and was like, she is going to go to the top. I know Tyra likes unique looks- the new, the fresh the different- and I saw that in her. Going up against her I knew that I had a 50/50 chance.
Was there ever a time when you thought you were going to be eliminated?
Every panel I thought there was a chance I would go home. Watching my face on the episodes I thought I looked like I was going to have a heart attack! I was so nervous every time
