Coachella Style

The Coachella Music Festival was the place to be this weekend--where not only were the temperatures scorching hot, but so were the fashions. With extraordinary acts like Arcade Fire, Mumford & Sons, Delta Spirit, Cee Lo Green, Kings of Leon and Kanye West headlining during the three-day music fest, throngs of dedicated groupies crowded into Indio, CA for a blazing weekend of heart-pumping performances and head-turning fashion moments. typeF Style and Beauty contributor Jennifer Chan braved the heat and made the rounds at countless Coachella parties to capture the incredibly eccentric styles worn by some very hip, cool and confident girls. From vintage patchwork jumpsuits to Missoni mini dresses, the ensembles seen at Coachella were all over the map and reflected an enormous amount of creative inspiration and brave personal style. An astounding number of outfits were thrift store and flea market finds (many of which were deconstructed or reassembled by some crafty style mavens); or bargain buys from unassuming retailers like Club Monaco, Windsor and American Apparel that were cleverly styled with standout accessories like straw hats, neon platform sandals and vintage cross body bags.
