Dip Dyes

Merging bold colors and ethereals, ombres and dip dyes will be the next big thing on the red carpet. Last year Julia Stiles ("Dexter") was way ahead of the trend, and this year expect to see Michelle Williams ("My Week With Marilyn") and Jessica Chastain ("The Help") among the devotees of these multicolored gowns. Seen on the pre-Fall runways at Donna Karan and Monique Lhuillier, this could be the most exciting red carpet trend for 2012.
