TypeF.com is here to help you look and feel your best in some not so familiar situations. In the typeF Survival Guide Series we look at different scenarios that you may encounter and provide you with solutions to face these challenging fashion and beauty situations. Hi I'm fashion stylist and typeF expert, Lilliana Vazquez. If you've never been to one, there's an entire culture here to embrace. You need cheers, tents and songs. Sporting events have a wide range of varying circumstances. So research is going to be key. The general rule for makeup is a natural look and durability. Before we begin, here's what you're going to need, light foundation or mineral makeup, bronzer, cream or powder blush, an eyelash curler, mascara, and lip gloss. When it comes to your face, a light foundation will help even out skin tone and conceal breakouts. Another option is mineral makeup. Mineral makeup is lightweight but still provides great coverage and SPF if you're outdoors. You'll also want to find a bronzer or a neutral blush that matches your natural cheek color. This helps create a natural look. Also, make sure to find a bronzer that matches your skin tone. You don't want one that's too dark or too light. Now if you're unsure about your skin tone, visit typeF's Just For You Module to determine your skin color. The first step in application is to smile. This clearly defines the apples of your cheeks where you want to apply the color. Then with a short fluffy brush, lightly apply small amounts of the blush or bronzer making sure to sweep in one direction until it's even and well blended to give you a subtle glow. When choosing your blush, it's important to consider your skin type too. For oily skin, a powder, gel or liquid are best. While if you have dry skin, a cream based blush is going to help keep your skin looking vibrant. On your eyes, go with as natural a look as you can. The natural theme continues on your lips as well. Find a sheer lip gloss with just a hint of color that matches your skin tone or maybe just a clear gloss to accent and highlight or a good moisturizing lip balm will also do the trick. Ideally, you're going to be eating, drinking, talking and screaming during this event, so consider makeup choices that fit. You want to look natural and still look cute without making it look like you tried too hard. Remember, the less you tote with you the better. So only bring mineral makeup, blush and lip gloss in your bag for quick touch ups. Well that's a look at a few makeup tips to help you look beautiful and fabulous at any sporting event. But remember, some events are outdoors, some are at night, some are indoors, some are during the day so you need to plan accordingly. Thanks for joining us and I'll see you on another episode of typeF Survival Guide. Show More Show Less
